An especially charming landmarked hotel: Hotel am Brandenburger Tor – Potsdam
In the heart of the Potsdam city center, right next to the Brandenburger Gate and only 5 minutes from the Sanssouci park lies the Hotel am Brandenburger Tor which opened its doors in 2010.
The formerly landmarked apartment building was recently transformed into a hotel with a total of 40 rooms. The baroque architecture blends harmonically with modern elements, and the rooms, too, share this taste for contrast. The old part of the building was fitted with 18 high-quality rooms, created following the English cottage style. In the newer part of the building, 22 rooms follow a modern business-like style. Voglauer hotel concept was trusted with the rooms' renovation as a result of an earlier successful cooperation with the investor. The company was in charge of the building's floors, furniture, lighting and window decoration. As always, Voglauer used only high-class materials, thus giving the project its usual high-quality finishing.Built in 2010, the Hotel am Brandenburger Tor in Potsdam primarily attracts business travelers. Nevertheless, city tourists get their money's worth as well, thanks to the numerous near-by tourist sites.
