Voglauer furnishes hotel in the heart of Cologne:
both modern and elegant at the same time.
Now after handing over the second stage of a further successful project for the complete room furnishing of the Mercure Hotels Severinshof in Cologne, Voglauer has once again proved its competence and ability in the hotel interior sector.
The decades of experience and the outstanding quality of the Salzburg hotel furnisher was the decisive factor in Voglauer hotel concept being awarded the contract for the complete furnishing of the rooms. The renovation of 66 out of a total of 253 rooms was in two phases. The first phase was finished in July 2010 and by finishing the second phase in August 2010 Voglauer hotel concept completed the complete renovation and re-furnishing of the rooms and hallways. The result is very impressive. 60 standard rooms, two corner rooms and 4 suites were freshly furnished.The design was by the Erfurt consultancy firm PAB. A straight line design in natural tones with orange colour accents on the chairs and cushions was realised. The focal point of the room is the bed which is skilfully made the centre of interest by the illuminated bed panel. The spacious suites were additionally furnished with a new living area including a bathroom.
