Austrian Skihotel-Look in Romanian: Hotel Sport, Poiana Brasov
The decades of experience and the excellent quality of the Salzburg hotel equipper was decisive for the fact that Voglauer hotel concept was contracted for the furnishing of the 102 rooms, the public area (restaurant, bar, reception, seminar rooms) and the newly built SPA area.
As the hotel was intended to be similar to the design of an Austrian ski hotel, the Austrian architect Geisler & Trimmel was contracted, and Voglauer as Austrian producer was ordered for the entire furnishing.
Voglauer was also responsible for the carpets and wooden floors in the hotel. The rooms were equipped in natural lacquered oak. A frame construction with shoot-like panelling was used on the desk feet, as room divider and on the headboard of the bed. The 2000m² SPA-area of the sport hotel in Poiana Brasov receives its guests in a unique and elegant ambience with a special projected design, inspired by the gifts of the earth, water, wood and stone (slate, onyx and marble), combined in a modern and at the same time elegant style. The public area was equipped in brushed spruce and veneered oak. The modern design of the rooms is continued here also.
The project was finished to the fullest satisfaction of the customer in spite of the short timeframe of only 3 months.
