Waldhotel National - Arosa back

Investment in successful tourist attraction

Waldhotel National in Arosa combines the style and elegance of a hotel conscious of tradition combined with the modern way of active recreation.

A modern new versatile building has been been added to the site of the Waldhotel National. It is situated at an angle to the existing Waldhotel. From the ground floor through to under the roof there are 33 new double rooms and 12 new suites. The opening of the new building of the hotel extension Chesa Silva is intended to be in December 2010.

The new build is an investment in the future; not only that of tourism but regional activity is also intended to be supported by this development. The traditional hotel wants to move with the times and to continue to maintain the level of quality expected by holidaymakers and seminar delegates alike.

The years of experience, the outstanding quality of the Salzburg hotel furnisher and the offer of “everything from a single source“ were decisive in  Voglauer hotel concept being awarded the contract to furnish all the rooms. The planning for this was carried out by Zurich architects “Keller/ Hauswirth/ Branzanti“. Voglauer was responsible for the complete painting and decocating work and for the furniture, seating, various panelling, flooring and curtains. The furniture is in larch. This material gives the rooms a harmonious atmosphere and skillfully connects traditional values with modern life style. Wherever possible, wood was used. The floor material is reflected for example again in the bed heads and in the various panelling.
