The newly built 4-star alpine hotel „Der Königsleitner“, quietly located on the outskirts of Königsleiten in the Zillertal area, lies right next to the ski slope and is the perfect starting point for hikes in the nearby national park Hohe Tauern during the summer.
Due to decades of experience and outstanding quality, Salzburg’s Voglauer hotel concept was put in charge of building the 31 new rooms, as well as the public area. With Voglauer being a full-service design provider, the hotelier family Obermoser had a contact partner from the onset of planning until the project hand-over.
The rooms give off a cosy atmosphere in an alpine design due to pleasant lighting and the combination of wild oak, loden and linen materials. Voglauer hotel concept also implemented this harmonic interior concept in the planning of the public area.
With a passion for detail and a unique style, modern architecture and local materials such as matured oak, split wood, round wood plates and stone walls were combined in a puristic form. An automatic living space ventilation system constantly supplies the rooms with fresh air.
A special focus was put on sustainability with the use of allergy sufferer-friendly carpets and trendy box spring beds.
