Voglauer was able to deliver another successful project and demonstrate once more its expertise in the area of hotel interiors in southern Europe with the furnishing of the rooms of the 5 star hotel Radisson Blu Dubrovnik.
Last but not least, the decades of experience and the sound quality of the Salzburg-based hotel furnisher was a decisive factor in the investors using Voglauer to furnish the hotel rooms which were designed by the London architecture firm Hirsch Bedner Associates.
An attempt has been made to use as many natural materials as is creatively possible and to incorporate the extraordinary scenery into the modern, Mediterranean interior. For example, oak and walnut were used in the rooms, while other material such as stone was used for the lamps. Special types of rock were brought in from Dubrovnik and the island of Brač even during the construction phase.
The entire complex also has breathtaking views over approximately 200 apartments, 13 restaurants and bars in addition to the rooms furnished by Voglauer. Among the countless recreational facilities include three swimming pools, a large sport centre, amazing beaches and a large spa and wellness area covering more than 3500 sq m.
