The spa and wellness house Spree Balance lies a short distance from Berlin in the health resort of Burg, a village in the UNESCO biosphere reserve.
Together with the interior architecture firm Kaiserschönlein (Berlin/Hamburg), Voglauer developed an overall concept which attached above all importance to a natural ambience in the colour themes of green for plants, orange for fire and beige for the earth.
Twenty-five rooms, the “Konrad” restaurant (named after the chef Konrad A. Wackerle), the reception and the lounge were all furnished. The light oak which was predominantly used conveys the charm of a modern rusticity.
