“Das Rübezahl“ is situated in one of the best locations of the Allgäu, with a direct view of the royal castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. For years, the four-star superior hotel has relied on the proven performance of the general contractor. VOGLAUER HOTEL CONCEPT was commissioned to carry out the interior fittings for a total of 34 high-quality rooms and suites, with sophisticated attention to detail, as well as the stone pine parlour, restaurant and wellness and beauty area. In addition to the design and implementation planning, the range of services included all renovation work and the coordination of all trades.

The recently completed project involved the renovation of six suites and the creation of a new, exceptionally premium room category. Now, the interior design of the “AlpenGlühen” suites combines modern chic style with traditional materials. Old wood and veneered knotty spruce are stylishly combined with white high-gloss surfaces. A romantic touch is created by the atmospheric lighting and the trendy fabrics in different shades of copper. Impressive highlights are, for example, the metal room divider and the effect fire on the head of the bed or the large photograph in the bathroom, which is staged in the form of a cube.

Noble design, high-quality natural materials, warm colours and great attention to detail also characterise the other rooms and public areas. As special aspect, the renovation of the existing building went hand in hand with the creation of the new building: the new house was to appear timelessly modern, but fit perfectly with the rustic old building. VOGLAUER HOTEL CONCEPT therefore developed an appealing interior design with special themes. Each room was individually designed and the furnishings were sustainably produced in-house by VOGLAUER.
