The foundation of the DGM Climate Pact is a company’s carbon footprint. Based on current standards, Voglauer had its footprint determined. This is made up of direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions. In the next step, emissions are to be reduced through targeted measures and, ideally, unavoidable emissions shall be compensated.
800 hotels were surveyed on behalf of the AHGZ (Allgemeine Hotel- und Gastronomie-Zeitung – General Hotel and Gastronomy Newspaper) and Voglauer was the winner of the “Best Brand” 2017/2018 category for hotel furnishings and design.
