In the middle of the Alps with a legendary view of the Matterhorn, VOGLAUER HOTEL CONCEPT was commissioned by Resort La Ginabelle****s in the first step for the planning & interior design of 24 apartments in the newly built Residence Altiana and in a second step for the renovation of 28 rooms in Hotel La Ginabelle.
Inspired by the alpine environment, the interior was designed with a high proportion of wood and timeless, high-quality materials, such as wild oak or velour fabrics. Earthy tones form the basis of the design concept. While ice-blue shimmering accents were set in the Residence Altiana, the rooms of the Hotel La Ginabells impress with warm copper tones and floral patterns. During the planning phase, special attention was also paid to a detailed lighting concept including direct and indirect lighting. A premium design highlight is the intarsia – a wall panelling with an LED-illuminated silhouette of the Matterhorn.
Since Zermatt is a car-free town, the logistics presented a special challenge. From the village entrance to the hotel the furniture deliveries were only possible by small electric carts and therefore took a whole day per truck load. Thanks to many years of experience and perfectly coordinated project management, VOGLAUER HOTEL CONCEPT was once again able to show itself from its very best side!
