VOGLAUER HOTEL CONCEPT was commissioned as general contractor for the renovation of 5 rooms in the renowned 5-star Ermitage Wellness & Spa Hotel in the heart of the Bernese Oberland. In addition to the design and implementation planning, the range of services included all renovation work as well as the interior fittings.
The interior designers from VOGLAUER developed an innovative concept in a modern country house style with room-defining elements such as the wooden beam ceiling, which stands for atmospheric alpine design. The furniture was realised in high-quality spruce and panelling in rustic old wood. The indirect lighting on the ceiling panelling creates a harmonious ambience without a central ceiling light and also highlights the roughcast on the walls.
The realisation took place during ongoing hotel operations and could be completed on time despite the hourly limited working hours in order not to disturb the guests. The experienced project team ensured that the rooms were handed over without any defects and also successfully managed the challenging logistics.
